Is this just another job board?
No. We don’t list jobs publicly and we don’t sell a searchable database. Job Lobster is a private workbench: you upload your resume, it scans public ATS feeds for roles that genuinely fit, and gives you the tools and an agent to move on them.
How is the scoring different from TealHQ, Huntr, or Simplify?
Those tools score jobs on keyword-density against your resume. Job Lobster runs a structured matcher that pulls must-haves, partials, and explicit dealbreakers, then applies gap-ceilings so missing requirements actually cap the score. A role where you’re missing a hard must-have will never show as 9/10 here.
What exactly is OpenClaw?
OpenClaw is your personal Claude agent. Paying users get an isolated agent sandbox that can apply to jobs on your behalf, draft and send follow-ups, and prepare you for interviews — all with a full audit log and human-in-the-loop approvals for anything that leaves your account.
Do you sell my data?
No. Your resume, intake answers, and drafts are yours. You can export everything as JSON from Setup, or delete your account in one click. Anthropic processes the LLM calls; Resend sends your emails; Fly.io hosts the app. None of them get your data for training, and we don’t share it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Billing is Stripe-hosted, self-serve. Cancel from the in-app portal and your tier downgrades at the end of the period — no fees, no retention calls.
Is it really built on Claude Opus 4.7?
Yes. The heavy lifts — tailoring, cover letters, interview prep, scoring calibration — run on Opus 4.7. Faster jobs (scoring, outreach follow-ups) use Sonnet 4.6. Model assignment is per-activity, tuned for quality and cost.
